A recent survey of over 4,500 California teachers confirmed that large numbers of them find their work stressful and exhausting, many expressing that job conditions have changed for the worse. The survey also revealed that 1 in 5 teachers say they will likely leave the profession in the next three years, 1 in 7 say they will definitely leave, and an additional 22% say there is a 50/50 chance they will leave.
