A senior leader at San Dieguito High School Academy has been awarded EH&A’s prestigious scholarship for 2018. Fatima Maya Castellanos earned the award as a result of pursuing a degree in business in order to work with her father in his construction business. She wants to attend the University of San Diego in the fall.
Fatima is the Co-President of the AVID Club, Co-President of the American Red Cross Club, an ASB Leader, and is a member of the Having a Voice Club. Her teachers describe her as a standout because of her quiet confidence, her courageous ability to speak her mind, and perhaps the most salient, her effective leadership and equally strong follow through.
Every year, the EH&A Scholarship Fund supports a graduating senior from San Dieguito Union High School District who will pursue a degree in the area of architecture, construction management, public administration or public finance. A minimum 2.5 GPA is required.
