As detailed in “Changes to the Full-Day Kindergarten Facilities Grant Program” in the February 2022 Fiscal Report, $477.75 million was allocated across two funding rounds. The first funding round was completed in April 2022 and consisted of $225 million. The second round, which includes all remaining funds, will run from February 1, 2023, through March 2, 2023. Local educational agencies should submit their Application for Funding (Form SAB 70-01) electronically through Office of Public School Construction (OPSC) Online.
